Caminante no hay camino ....
Club Natació Sant Andreu in Barcelona each year organizes a popular walk from the headquarters of its facilities in the neighborhood of Sant Andreu to the legendary Catalan mountain of Montserrat , where the most adored of the community, The Moreneta .
This rise is held every year in May and are increasingly those who dare to participate in this act of good citizenship, fellowship and health.
started walking at 18.00 pm, all dressed in orange T-shirt commemorating and a mass of people so we head to our final destination, the top of Montserrat .
The tour takes us through the neighborhood of Sant Andreu , continue along Passeig of Fabra i Puig , towards the mountain of Collserola , where after a few hours we expect the first supplies that truth is great.
Slowly but surely we continued the march for Collserola , where after a couple of hours early evening and that's when we take all our flashlights and fluorescent form a kind of human ...
The trip by Collserola is long and with different degrees of outstanding difficulty and night to be increasing, but the group never lost the joy and the atmosphere is exceptional, mixing people of all ages ..
The next stop where dinner is also in General Hospital Sant Cugat , where after some sandwiches and a sweet dessert (to get energy) we continued the march, crossing the population.
walked and walked without stopping and the journey began to harden, by the accumulation of hours and the dream that began to appear, but we continue, there was no reverse.
The next point is found in supplies Ruby-Les Fonts , where we rested about 15 minutes and put on our reflective vests as a stretch where we drive on the road.
After this stretch where organization made sure safety was the first, we were facing the toughest stretch to Ullastrell population, where the trip took on their higher hardness.
Ullastrell , was one of the last pitfalls, so after restoring forces proceeded towards the last stop on this fantastic tour, Olesa of Montserrat, where we could see the sunrise on the slopes of Montserrat .
remained little more than two hours to stop Montserrat funicular, where the issue could be separated from those who began the hardest climb on foot and continued to travel or who, after many hours of chose to ride up by cable car to the top
We did walk, this last point is for the brave and true halfway caught me a bit sorry The funicular, that this section is complicated and very steep, but also 20 minutes from the end, we expect quite high stairs they got discouraged a little .... but eventually it did and we got to the top .... and this certainly repeat next year
The "tour" lasted about 15 hours of which 13 were walking, time that we had time to meet people and enjoy great stories about some hikers experts repeated.
During the tour a group of people are responsible for carrying backpacks where each walker carries food, clothing, shoes etc ... which can be accessed in each Stop .
The feeling on reaching the top is amazing, with a unique view of Catalunya that make this effort more than rewarded.
After the whole tour, we visit to The Moreneta , promising that next year be back .....
I want to thank Carmen and David, who guided us fantastically , the Uncle of David (a Crack ) and my great friends and Adrian Ricard and allow us to Vane and my accompany this travel, and this post is dedicated to all
